Compact Wall-Mount Steel Enclosure

The Wiegmann RSC060806 is a carbon-steel junction box rated NEMA 3R for indoor or outdoor wall mounting. It provides a solid screw-on cover with a padlockable hasp to protect circuit breakers and line-protection devices from rain and splashing water.

Installers Needing a Small Lockable Box

Electricians and maintenance crews who want a 16-gauge steel cabinet with a grey ANSI 61 powder coat will find the dimensions practical for tight wall spaces. Buyers who need a larger usable depth than 5.88 in or a different NEMA rating should look at other enclosures.

Padlock Hasp and Mounting Hardware Included

The built-in padlockable handle lets you secure the cover without extra parts, and the package supplies the mounting screws required for installation. The CSA, cULus and UL Listed marks confirm the enclosure meets recognised safety standards for electrical installations.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware must I already have to install the 8 in H × 6 in W × 6 in D carbon-steel enclosure on a wall?

The unit includes mounting screws; you only need a drill, appropriate anchors or fasteners for your wall type, and a screwdriver to secure the four mounting holes on the back.

Can I keep using my existing padlock with the 16 ga steel hasp closure on this NEMA 3R box?

Yes — the padlockable hasp accepts standard shackle diameters, so any padlock you already own that fits the hasp opening will work without modification.

How do I verify the enclosure meets its CSA, cULus and UL Listed ratings after installation?

Confirm the gray ANSI 61 powder-coated finish is intact, the screw-on solid cover seals flush, the padlock hasp latches fully, and the UL/cUL/CSA labels inside the box remain legible.
