Wall-mount carbon steel enclosure with NEMA 3/4 rating, ANSI 61 powder coat, stainless screws and neoprene gasket
The WA-GSC series enclosure is a wall-mountable NEMA 3 and 4 rated cabinet built from 14 ga carbon steel with an ANSI 61 powder coated gray finish. It measures 12 in height, 12 in width and 6 in depth, providing a usable opening depth of 5.88 in. The solid cover secures with stainless steel screws and a neoprene gasket to maintain the environmental rating.
Included stainless steel cover screws resist corrosion while the neoprene gasket seals the enclosure against windblown dust, rain and splashing water. These components work together so the cabinet meets its NEMA 3 and 4 ratings without additional sealing kits or field modifications.
This enclosure suits applications that require a UL Listed and CSA Certified carbon steel box with a 12 by 12 inch footprint and 6 inch depth for wall mounting. It does not serve installations needing a larger footprint, deeper interior, hinged cover or non-metallic construction.

Inspect the neoprene gasket annually for compression set or cracking; replace it if the seal no longer compresses evenly to maintain the NEMA 3 and 4 ratings.
The 5.88 in usable depth restricts internal airflow, so total dissipation must stay low enough that the gray ANSI 61 powder-coated walls do not exceed component temperature ratings.
Passive dissipation depends on the 12 in by 12 in surface area and the 14 ga steel thickness; no active cooling is included, so internal loads must match the cabinet's natural convection capacity.
