Wiitek Green SFP+ DAC twinax cable 2m 10G 30AWG

SKU CH-S6QA-MYGSP

A 2-metre passive SFP+ twinax cable carrying 10 Gbps over 30 AWG copper, compliant with SFP+ MSA and SFF-8432, operating from 0 to 70 °C

  • Overall length6.56 ft (2 m)
  • 10 Gbps throughput for high-speed switch links
  • 2 metre passive twinax reaches adjacent racks without power
  • 30 AWG conductors keep crosstalk low for clean signals
  • Green PVC jacket simplifies cable identification in dense patches
  • SFP+ MSA and SFF-8432 compliant for broad vendor interoperability

Green SFP+ DAC Twinax Cable — 2 metre reach

A green passive SFP+ direct-attach copper cable rated for 10 Gbps and built to SFP+ MSA and SFF-8432. The 30 AWG twinax construction runs 2 metres between SFP+ ports on switches, routers, NAS units or NICs. It operates from 0 to 70 °C and ships in an antistatic bag.

Suits 10 GbE and 10 G Fibre Channel links in racks

Ideal for storage area networks, NAS appliances and high-density switch uplinks where a short copper link replaces optics. Not suited for longer runs, for speeds above 10 Gbps, or for ports that require optical transceivers.

10 Gbps passive copper with SFP+ ends

The single deciding specification is the 10 Gbps maximum data rate over passive twinax; if the link needs more bandwidth or a longer reach, this cable will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the 30AWG passive twinax cable generate noticeable heat when running at 10Gbps all day?

The passive design has no active electronics, so it produces negligible heat during continuous 10Gbps operation.

What SFP+ ports must my switch or NIC already have for this cable to work?

Both ends need standard SFP+ cages compliant with the SFP+ MSA and SFF-8432 specification.

Will this 2m green cable link correctly to an older 1G or 8G Fibre Channel switch port?

Yes, the cable supports 1G, 2G, 4G and 8G Fibre Channel speeds in addition to 10GbE.
