Dual-CPU server board with LGA 2011 sockets supporting up to 64 GB DDR3 for Xeon E5 processors
This new WMtec X79 motherboard accepts two LGA 2011 Intel Xeon processors and supports up to 64 GB of DDR3 memory. It is aimed at builders assembling multi-socket servers or workstations that require high core counts within a single chassis. The board provides the foundation for parallel workloads such as virtualization, rendering or scientific computing.
Verify that your existing Xeon E5 processors match the LGA 2011 socket and are rated for dual-socket operation. Confirm the DDR3 modules you plan to use are registered ECC types supported by the X79 chipset and that the total capacity does not exceed the 64 GB limit. Ensure your chassis, power supply and cooling solution can accommodate a dual-processor layout with the required EPS connectors.

The board is sold by itself. You will need to buy a pair of LGA 2011 Xeon E5 processors and DDR3 memory modules to reach the 64 GB limit.
The board supports up to 64 GB of DDR3. Choose the total capacity that matches your workload; any amount up to that limit will work.
