Dual-socket X99 board with DDR4 ECC memory, M.2 NVMe and four SATA 3.0 ports in a 237 x 180 mm mATX layout
The WMtec X99-8M-F is a micro-ATX motherboard built for dual Intel Xeon E5 processors using the LGA 2011-3 socket. It targets administrators assembling cost-effective servers or workstations that need multi-threaded compute density in a compact 237 by 180 millimetre form factor. The board runs on an eight-layer PCB with six-phase power delivery and includes a 5.1 channel audio codec and gigabit Ethernet.
Verify your case accepts a 237 by 180 millimetre micro-ATX board and that the power supply provides both a 24-pin and an 8-pin connector with at least 500 watts capacity. The chipset ships as either H81 or B85 at random so feature parity between units cannot be guaranteed. Memory slots are limited to two DDR4 sockets supporting dual-channel 2400 2133 or 1866 megahertz operation with RECC modules. Expansion comprises one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot one x4 slot one x1 slot and one M.2 NVME interface plus four SATA 3.0 ports.
This board suits builders who need two Xeon CPUs in a small chassis with NVME boot and SATA storage arrays. It does not suit buyers who want more storage lanes than four SATA ports and one M.2 slot provide or administrators who need more than two DIMM slots for large memory footprints. The random H81 or B85 chipset also makes it unsuitable for deployments requiring a defined feature set across multiple identical nodes.

The board is sold by itself. Dual Intel Xeon E5 CPUs and DDR4 RECC memory modules are not included and must be bought separately. A minimum 500 W power supply is also required.
The chipset is not selectable; the manufacturer ships either H81 or B85 at random. Both variants fit the same LGA 2011-3 socket and support the listed Xeon E5 processors, DDR4 speeds and expansion layout.
With two DDR4 modules installed the memory controller runs at up to 2400 MHz in dual-channel mode. Populating only one slot drops the system to single-channel bandwidth at the same frequency ceiling.
