Server motherboard supporting dual Xeon CPUs with DDR4 3200 REG ECC memory, NVME and USB 3.0 connectivity
The WMtec X99 F8 is a new server motherboard built around the X99 platform. It accepts dual Intel Xeon processors and runs DDR4 3200 REG ECC memory for error-corrected capacity. An NVME slot and USB 3.0 ports provide high-speed storage and peripheral connectivity.
This board requires two Xeon CPUs to operate; builders who only need one processor or who plan to use non-ECC memory should choose a different platform.

Registered ECC modules at 3200 MHz add error correction and signal buffering, letting two Xeon CPUs share large memory capacities with stable throughput.
USB 3.0 tops out at 5 Gbps, so connected storage or peripherals cannot exceed that bandwidth even if the drives themselves are faster.
