Wooster Brush Company F5105 Paint Brush Set, 1/2 in, 1/4 in, No. 2, No. 4

Wooster F5105 Artist Brush Set

This set contains four artist brushes with camel hair filaments and wooden handles. Sizes included are 1/2 inch, 1/4 inch, No. 2 and No. 4. Bristle lengths range from 10 mm to 25 1/2 mm with thicknesses between 2 mm and 4 mm. The soft bristles suit detailed work with oils, varnishes, glues and pastes.

Suited to fine art and detail finishing

Artists and decorators needing soft natural hair for smooth surfaces will find these useful. The brushes work on wood, metal, concrete and drywall with oil-based coatings. Buyers who need synthetic filaments for water-based paints should look elsewhere. Those requiring larger widths or stiffer bristles for heavy coverage will need a different set.

Camel hair filament with soft stiffness

The natural camel hair provides a soft feel suited to oil paints, varnishes, glues and pastes. Bristle thickness measures 2 mm, 2 11/16 mm and 4 mm across the four brushes. Lengths measure 10 mm, 13 mm, 19 mm, 24 mm and 25 1/2 mm. This specification determines suitability for fine detail rather than broad strokes.
