Wooster Brush Company R240-9 9" Paint Roller Cover, 1/2" Nap, Knit Fabric

9" Roller Cover 1/2" Nap

The Wooster R240-9 is a 9 inch paint roller cover built with knit fabric and a 1/2 inch nap. It fits standard cage frames with a 1 1/2 inch core diameter and a polypropylene core. The cover is designed for use with flat paints, satin paints, stains and waterproofing coatings on semi-rough surfaces.

Suited for semi-rough walls and masonry

This cover works well on brick, concrete, drywall, masonry and wood where a low-sheen finish is required. It pairs with Wooster frames such as the BR549-11, R017-9, R030-9, R402-11, R404-11, R405-13 and R501-9. Painters needing a very smooth finish on fine surfaces or a much thicker nap for deeply textured substrates should look at other options.

1/2 inch nap for semi-rough texture

The 1/2 inch nap depth is the key specification that determines paint pickup and release on semi-rough surfaces like brick, concrete and textured drywall. It balances material hold with a relatively even low-sheen laydown for flat, satin, stain and waterproofing products.
