2-in-1 Trimmer and Edger

The WORX WG163.9 combines a 12-inch string trimmer and a wheeled lawn edger in one 20V cordless platform. It weighs 5.52 pounds and runs at 7600 rpm no-load speed. Two 20V maxLithium batteries and a charger are included so the tool is ready to use immediately.

Suits small to medium lawns

Homeowners who want a single tool for trimming and edging without buying separate machines will benefit from the tool-free conversion and Command Feed line system. The adjustable spacer guard protects plants and ornaments. Buyers needing wider cutting paths or longer runtime per charge should consider higher-voltage outdoor equipment.

Handles typical residential edging

The 12-inch cutting diameter and 10-inch line length with 0.065-inch diameter cover standard lawn borders and light overgrowth. Dual batteries extend total working time across the yard. Very large properties or dense, wet grass may exceed the capacity of a single 20V pack before recharge.

Questions about this item

Does this trimmer come with the batteries and charger needed to start cutting right away?

Yes, the box includes two 20 V maxLithium batteries and a 20 V charger so you can work immediately.

Can I keep using the same 20 V batteries if I add other WORX Power Share tools later?

The two included 20 V maxLithium batteries are part of the Power Share family and fit any other WORX 20 V, 40 V or 80 V tool that uses the same platform.

How do I know the Command Feed spool is advancing line correctly while I’m trimming?

Press the feed button and watch the line extend; the head spins at 7600 rpm no-load speed, so a clean cut with a 12 in diameter confirms proper operation.
