The WORX WG170 is a 20V cordless unit that converts between a 12-inch string trimmer, an in-line lawn edger and a mini mower. It weighs 5.5 pounds and ships with two lithium-ion batteries and a charger, so homeowners with small to medium lawns can handle trimming, edging and light mowing without a cord or petrol engine.

Tool-Free Conversion and Line Feed

Switching modes uses the pivoting head and adjustable handle, both of which reposition without tools; seven handle positions and six head angles let you match the tool to the task. The Command Feed system advances fresh line at the push of a button, eliminating the stop-and-pull routine, while the included flower guard and support wheels protect beds and add stability during edging.

Runtime and Capacity Limits

Two 20V batteries deliver a combined 80 watt-hours, powering the 7600 rpm motor through typical residential trimming and edging sessions. The 12-inch cutting width covers narrow paths and borders efficiently, but the mini-mower deck is not sized for primary lawn mowing on larger areas.
