Four-port HDMI 2.0b switch with audio extraction
The unit routes four HDMI sources to a single display while pulling the embedded soundtrack out to optical, coaxial or 3.5 mm analogue outputs. It suits home-theatre owners, installers or small venues that need to share one screen among several players, consoles or PCs. Buyers who require more than four simultaneous inputs or a second independent HDMI output will need a larger matrix.
18.5 Gbps bandwidth ceiling and cable-length limits
Maximum throughput is 18.5 Gbps, so 4K at 60 Hz with HDR 10 and 36-bit deep colour passes through, but higher refresh rates or 8K signals are not supported. HDMI 2.0b cables must be 26 AWG for runs up to 5 m or 28 AWG for runs up to 3 m on both input and output sides. Optical or coaxial audio cables can reach 10 m.
Handles four 4K60 sources
The switch comfortably manages four 4K 60 Hz streams and forwards Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, AC3, DTS or DSD bitstreams over SPDIF or coaxial in 5.1-channel mode. Analogue 3.5 mm output is restricted to two-channel stereo. Auto-switching skips inactive ports, though it will not trigger on PlayStation 5 or Xbox consoles because of their power-handling behaviour.

Questions about this item
Which audio output should I choose between the 3.5 mm jack, optical and coaxial ports?
Use the 3.5 mm jack for stereo 2-channel sound. Choose optical or coaxial when you need 5.1-channel surround or stereo pass-through.
What does the 4K@60 Hz rating mean when the switch is connected to my display?
The unit passes 4K resolution at 60 Hz with HDR 10, RGB 8:8:8 and 36-bit Deep Color up to 18.5 Gbps bandwidth.
How does HDMI 2.0b with HDCP 2.2 limit what I can connect?
HDMI 2.0b caps video at 4K 60 Hz 18.5 Gbps, while HDCP 2.2 allows protected 4K streams but blocks higher refresh rates or 8K signals.
