Bi-Directional DisplayPort 2.0 Switch

The WRIARICH A0201 routes video from two DisplayPort sources to one display, or from one source to either of two displays. Only one output is active at a time, switched with a button on the unit. It requires USB power to operate and includes a charging cable.

Sustained 40 Gbps bandwidth with cable limits

The splitter maintains 40 Gbps throughput for high-resolution signals, but total cable length between the switcher and connected devices must not exceed two metres. Longer runs risk signal shielding and loss of picture. USB power must remain connected during use.

16K at 60 Hz maximum resolution

This single specification defines whether the switcher matches your display pipeline. It supports 16K at 60 Hz, 8K at 60 Hz, and 4K at up to 240 Hz. Buyers needing simultaneous dual-display output or longer cable runs cannot use this device.

Questions about this item

Does the WRIARICH A0201 draw noticeable power or generate heat when left running all day?

The splitter is powered by the included USB cable and has no fan or active cooling; with only signal-switching electronics inside, power draw and heat are negligible during continuous use.

What cables and power source must I already have to make the A0201 work?

You need one or two DisplayPort cables (total length ≤ 2 m) plus a USB-A port or charger for the supplied power cable; without USB power the switch will not pass a signal.

Will the A0201 work with my older DisplayPort 1.4 monitor and graphics card?

Yes — the switch is backward-compatible with earlier DP standards, so a DP 1.4 source and display will operate at up to 8K 120 Hz or 4K 240 Hz through the device.
