It enables modern streaming sticks, consoles or laptops to connect to older televisions, VCRs or DVD recorders that only accept RCA inputs. The unit is powered directly from the HDMI port so no external supply is required.

1080p Input to 480i/576i Output

The converter accepts resolutions up to 1080p and downscales the picture to 480i for NTSC or 576i for PAL composite formats. This fixed output resolution is the single specification that determines whether the adapter matches the target display or recorder. Higher-definition signals are not passed through in their native format.

Compact Inline Design
