WRIARICH HDMI698352 1x2 Splitter 1080p

The WRIARICH HDMI698352 is a 1x2 HDMI splitter that sends one source signal to two displays simultaneously. It supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and uses a manual push button for switching. The unit is coloured black and includes a short 5 in. cable for immediate connection. Plug and play operation requires no software installation.

Suits dual-screen setups not multi-source switching

This splitter suits users who need to mirror one HDMI source across two screens such as HDTVs or projectors. It works with devices like PS3, Xbox 360, HD-DVD and STB units that output up to 1080p. Buyers who want to switch multiple sources into one display should look at a switch instead. The single input limits use to one source at a time.

1920 x 1080 maximum resolution decides fit

The decisive specification is the 1920 x 1080 maximum resolution supported on both outputs. If your source or displays require higher resolutions such as 4K this splitter will not pass the signal. The 0.5-1.0 volts p-p video input range and 5 volts p-p DDC signal are fixed electrical parameters. Confirm your equipment matches these limits before purchase.

Questions about this item

What source device with an HDMI output do I need to connect to the single input on this splitter?

Connect any device that provides an HDMI signal up to 1920 x 1080, such as a PS3, Xbox 360, DVD player, or set-top box, to the 1x HDMI female input.

Will my older 1080p displays work with the two HDMI outputs on this unit?

Yes, the splitter distributes the same 1080p signal to both 2x HDMI female outputs simultaneously, so each connected display receives a full HD picture.

How can I confirm the splitter is passing video correctly after I hook it up?

Both attached displays should show the source image at 1920 x 1080 without flicker; the unit is plug-and-play with no buttons or LEDs to configure.
