WRIARICH HW-HD1080P 1-in-8 HDMI Splitter

This powered HDMI splitter takes a single HDMI source and mirrors it across eight identical outputs. It supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and 3D formats for compatible displays. The unit includes an AC adaptor for reliable signal amplification over longer cable runs. It works with PCs, consoles, Blu-ray players and streaming devices.

Suits multi-display installs.

Ideal for conference rooms, classrooms, digital signage or home theatres where every screen must show the same image. Audio formats including LPCM, Dolby-AC3, DTS7.1 and Dolby TrueHD pass through unchanged. Buyers who need each display to show different content should consider a matrix switcher instead. The splitter does not extend a desktop across multiple monitors.

Maximum supported resolution 1920 x 1080

The specification lists a peak resolution of 1920 x 1080 with additional support for 1440p signals. All eight outputs mirror the input at this ceiling. If your source or displays require higher resolutions such as 4K, this model will not pass those signals. Verify that your content and screens operate within the stated limit before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the AC adapter eventually need replacing?

The unit ships with an external AC adaptor that powers the splitter; like any wall-wart power supply it can fail after years of continuous use and would then need a replacement of the same voltage and polarity.

What resolution ceiling appears first when driving all eight displays?

Every output is limited to a maximum of 1920 x 1080, so that ceiling is reached before any higher format could be negotiated across the eight ports.

Does the box get hot or noisy during all-day operation?

The splitter has no fan and draws little power, so it runs silently; the metal case may become warm to the touch after extended use but stays within normal operating temperature.
