What this splitter does

The WRIARICH OZF12 takes one HDMI source and sends an identical signal to two displays at the same time. It is built for setups that need simultaneous output to a television and a projector, or to two screens in a retail or classroom environment. The unit includes a 5V/2A power adapter for reliable operation.

The spec that decides fit

This device follows the HDMI 2.0b standard and handles HDCP 2.2 on the input while stripping encryption on the output. That behaviour determines whether a protected source will play on both connected screens. If your workflow requires the output to remain encrypted, this splitter will not meet that need.

Capacity and headroom

The splitter passes video up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth and supports deep colour at 30, 36 or 48 bit. Audio formats up to LPCM 7.1, DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD are transmitted. It does not scale resolution between outputs, so both displays must accept the same timing.

Questions about this item

What does 4K@60Hz mean when the splitter is connected to my display?

The unit passes a 3840 x 2160 picture at 60 frames per second to both outputs simultaneously, so each screen sees the same full-motion 4K image without frame drops.

How does the HDMI 2.0b interface limit what I can send through the splitter?

The 18 Gbps bandwidth caps the signal at 4K 60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour or deep-colour 30/36/48 bit; higher refresh rates or 8K resolutions exceed the link and will not pass.

What space and power do I need to mount the OZF12?

The box measures 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces; it requires the included 5 V 2 A AC adapter, so allow room for the splitter and its power brick near an outlet.
