HDMI Audio Extractor Splitter 4K 60Hz

The WRIARICH OZV8-1 separates audio from a single HDMI source, delivering video through an HDMI pass-through while providing optical Toslink and 3.5 mm analogue outputs. It suits installers who need to feed a soundbar, AV receiver or powered speakers without an HDMI audio return channel.

Plug-and-play with external power

Connect the HDMI source to the input, link the display to the HDMI output, then attach either the optical or 3.5 mm cable to your audio device. The unit requires the included 5 V 1 A adapter; forgetting this supply is the most common reason the extractor appears dead on first power-up.

Steady 18 Gbps throughput for long sessions

Rated at 18 Gbps bandwidth and 600 MHz pixel clock, the splitter maintains 4K 60 Hz 24-bit or deep-colour 30/36-bit signals continuously. Aluminium housing dissipates heat during extended playback, preventing the signal dropouts that cheaper plastic enclosures exhibit after prolonged use.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the extractor is passing 4K 60 Hz video correctly after connecting it?

Verify that the display shows 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz and that HDR content plays without dropouts; the unit supports 18 Gbps bandwidth and 600 MHz pixel clock for full 4K 60 Hz throughput.

What comes in the box and which cables or adapters must I provide myself?

The package includes the extractor, a 5 V / 1 A power adapter, and a user manual; you must supply the HDMI source cable (up to 10 m AWG26), an HDMI display cable, and either a TOSLINK optical cable or a 3.5 mm stereo cable for audio.

Which audio output should I choose — optical TOSLINK or 3.5 mm — for 5.1-channel surround sound?

Use the TOSLINK optical output for 5.1-channel formats such as DTS or Dolby Digital; the 3.5 mm jack is limited to two-channel PCM stereo.
