Included 12V power adapter enables 3.5 inch drive

A 12V 2A power supply is bundled so that larger 3.5 inch desktop drives receive the current they need over USB. Without this adapter, only low-power 2.5 inch drives could be used. The extra power also helps maintain stable transfers during long backup or cloning sessions.

Gold-plated SATA connector

The SATA interface uses gold-plated contacts for reliable signal integrity. The cable assembly incorporates 30 metre gold-finger polyimide tape rated for high temperatures and anti-static protection.
