SATA Drive Adapter with USB 3.0

This cable connects a 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drive or SSD to a USB-A port on a laptop, desktop, tablet or router. It supports drives up to 18TB and works with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS without installing drivers. A separate 12V power adapter is required for 3.5" drives and is not included.

Sustained Transfer with UASP

The adapter reaches 5 Gbps and supports UASP and TRIM for faster sustained throughput. When the host also supports UASP, reads run 70% faster and writes 40% faster than standard USB 3.0. The connection falls back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 where needed. Actual speed depends on the drive and host capabilities.

Low-Power Sleep and Status LED

A blue LED shows activity and the adapter enters sleep mode after three minutes of inactivity to reduce power draw. The short 0.5 m cable keeps the setup tidy and limits voltage drop. No fan or active cooling is present, so operation stays silent.
