5.25 Inch Weatherproof Pair

This pair of 5.25 inch on-wall speakers is built for indoor and outdoor use. The waterproof construction handles heavy water splashes on patios, by the pool or on boats. Rustproof grilles protect the drivers from corrosion and distortion. Universal mounting brackets allow horizontal or vertical placement on walls, corners or ceilings.

40 Hz to 22 kHz Passive Range

The speakers cover a frequency response of 40 Hz to 22 kHz through a capacitor crossover network. A 5.25 inch aluminum injection cone woofer with a 40 oz magnet handles low frequencies. A 1 inch Mylar tweeter reproduces the highs. Quick-connect terminals make wiring simple, but the system requires an external amplifier to operate.

Upgrades Basic Outdoor Audio

The heavy-duty ABS enclosure and marine-grade build replace weather-vulnerable indoor speakers used outside. The jump is worth it when you need permanent installation that survives rain, splashes and humidity. The spring-loaded U-brackets simplify aiming compared to fixed-mount alternatives. Buyers who need wireless streaming or battery power will need a different solution.
