A marine stereo package with Bluetooth streaming, AM/FM radio, USB and auxiliary inputs, plus two 6.5-inch 100-watt speakers rated IPx6 for water resistance
This marine stereo speaker package includes a Bluetooth-enabled receiver and two 6.5 inch black speakers. The receiver streams audio wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet and plays MP3 files via USB 2.0 or auxiliary input. An AM/FM tuner with preset memory handles broadcast radio. The system is designed for boats and other open-cockpit vehicles that need a compact all-in-one audio upgrade.
The receiver carries an IPx6 rating for water splashing protection and uses a conformally coated circuit board to resist moisture and corrosion. Its plastic chassis features a UV coating to withstand prolonged sun exposure. The unit fits a standard gauge opening for clean helm integration. Display brightness adjusts for day or night visibility without adding glare.
The package supplies a pair of 6.5 inch marine-grade two-way full-range dual-cone speakers rated at 100 watts per pair. Each speaker requires a mounting depth of 2-1/4 inch. A marine dipole antenna is also provided for radio reception. Buyers who need more output channels or a separate subwoofer output should look for a receiver with dedicated pre-amp outputs beyond the single RCA pair supplied here.

Cut a tachometer-size hole, insert each speaker to the 2-1/4 inch mounting depth, and secure the flange; the step most installers miss is orienting the cone vertically so water drains off the grille instead of pooling.
The dipole antenna and the speaker grille hardware corrode fastest; rinse both with fresh water after every outing and plan to swap the antenna every couple of seasons.
Sustained output near the 40 watt peak into 4 ohm loads causes the conformal-coated board to trigger its thermal limit after roughly twenty minutes, dropping volume until the heatsink cools.
