50ft Flat Cat 7 Network Cable

This 50ft white Cat 7 flat Ethernet cable delivers up to 10Gbps bandwidth at 600MHz for wired LAN connections. The STP construction with gold-plated RJ45 connectors suits home servers, consoles, streaming boxes and network switches. It is built for users who want a low-profile cable that can be routed under carpet or along walls without bulk.

10Gbps Headroom and 600MHz Rating

The cable handles 10Gbps speeds across its full 50ft length, covering typical gigabit and 10-gigabit home or small-office runs. Shielded twisted pairs and 50-micron gold contacts reduce crosstalk and interference. Performance drops if the run exceeds the rated distance or if connectors are damaged during installation.

25 Adhesive Clips for Fixed Routing

Twenty-five adhesive-backed clips are included to secure the flat cable along baseboards, door frames or ceilings. The manufacturer advises cleaning the surface, pressing each clip for 5-7 seconds and waiting 24 hours before loading the cable. This bundle turns a loose patch lead into a permanent, tidy installation.

Questions about this item

Will the 10Gbps Cat 7 cable run at full speed when I plug it into my older Cat 5e router and switch?

The cable is backwards compatible with Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 6A equipment, but the link will negotiate to the lowest common speed supported by those older ports.

How can I confirm the flat cable is delivering the rated 10Gbps throughput after I route it under the carpet?

Run a local speed test between two devices that both have 10GbE network adapters; sustained transfers near 10Gbps indicate the shielded twisted-pair link is performing to spec.

Does the 50ft white cable arrive with the 25 adhesive clips already in the bag, or do I need to buy clips separately?

The package includes the 50ft Cat 7 flat cable with RJ45 connectors on both ends plus 25 adhesive cable clips for wall or baseboard mounting.
