Compact 8 MB Voice Module

The XLW JR1656 is an 8 MB digital sound module that records up to eight minutes of audio. It captures sound via a built-in microphone or through a Bluetooth link from a mobile phone. A small speaker plays back recordings directly from the device.

Makers wanting simple audio clips

Hobbyists adding voice to greeting cards, music boxes or seasonal crafts will find the operation straightforward. Users who need longer recording time, higher fidelity or removable storage should consider other solutions.

Fits inside paper-thin projects

At 2.24 by 2.6 by 0.2 inches the board slides into flat handmade items without adding bulk. The internal lithium-ion cell runs for two hours and recharges over the same Bluetooth connection, so no external power wiring is required.
