Two-pack voice recorders for DIY gifts

This set includes two compact white recording modules designed for embedding in plush toys, pillows, greeting cards and craft projects. Each unit stores up to 195 seconds of audio and is ready to use straight from the box. The simple press-and-hold operation makes it accessible for children and hobbyists alike. No additional software or drivers are required for basic recording and playback.

USB charging and battery performance

A built-in 110 mAh lithium-ion battery powers each module and reaches full charge in about 60 minutes via the supplied USB Micro cable. A red indicator shows charging status and turns off when complete. The recorder delivers up to 195 seconds of playback time per charge. There are no cooling fans or moving parts, so operation is completely silent.

Upgrades from disposable sound modules

These rechargeable buttons replace single-use recordable devices that cannot be re-recorded or require button-cell changes. The jump is worth it when you want to update messages for different occasions or reuse the module across multiple projects. Buyers who need longer continuous recording time or multi-track storage should consider larger-capacity alternatives.

Questions about this item

How do I install the recorder inside a plush toy and which step often goes wrong?

Open the toy seam, place the 1.88 x 1.88 x .86 inch module inside, then sew it shut; the step people miss is pressing the button for exactly one second until two beeps sound before closing the toy.

What maintenance will the built-in lithium-ion cell need over time?

The 110 mAh battery recharges via USB Micro in about 60 minutes; expect capacity to fade after several hundred cycles, at which point the whole sealed unit is replaced.

What limit appears first during continuous recording sessions?

Each recording caps at 195 seconds and 1 MB storage, so the time limit is reached before the memory fills.
