36" 2.1 Channel Soundbar System

The Yamaha ATS-2090 delivers cinema sound for movies, music, and games through a streamlined soundbar and wireless subwoofer combination. Built-in Alexa voice control allows hands-free management of playback, alarms, and smart home devices. Bluetooth connectivity enables wireless streaming from compatible devices.

Ideal for Simple Living-Room Upgrades

This system suits viewers who want stronger audio than built-in TV speakers without running speaker cables across the room. The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere a power outlet exists. Buyers who require a dedicated centre channel for dialogue clarity or multi-room audio expansion should consider alternative configurations.

200 Watts Across Two Channels and Subwoofer

The 200 W total output handles typical TV viewing, streaming playlists, and casual gaming at comfortable volumes. HDMI, optical, and analogue inputs with 4K Ultra HD pass-through cover most source devices. Larger open-plan spaces or reference-level home-theatre demands will exceed the available headroom.

Questions about this item

What TV connections are needed to use the 36" 2.1 soundbar and wireless subwoofer?

The soundbar accepts HDMI, optical, or analog input, and an optical cable is included for a direct TV link.

Will the soundbar pass 4K Ultra HD video to an older TV that only has HDMI 1.4?

Yes, the 4K Ultra HD pass-through feature relays the signal without downgrading it, so the TV receives whatever the source sends.

How can I confirm the built-in Alexa is active after setup?

Say the wake word; the soundbar will respond with a tone or voice reply showing Alexa is listening.
