Yealink Network Technology Co., Ltd
A 12-line VoIP phone with a 2.8-inch 320x240 color display, dual USB ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet and PoE support
Model SIP-T44U
The Yealink SIP-T44U is a 12-line IP phone built for co-working environments and open-plan offices. It combines a 2.8-inch 320x240-pixel color LCD with backlight and dual USB 2.0 ports for flexible peripheral use. Up to 12 SIP accounts can be registered, making it suitable for hot-desking or multi-user scenarios. The phone supports dual firmware images for simplified maintenance across deployments.
Connectivity relies on dual-port Gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 3, so a single cable can carry both data and power. Two USB 2.0 ports accept headsets, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi dongles, or recording devices in any combination. An integrated Hall switch reduces keystroke noise for quieter shared spaces. RJ9 ports handle the handset and a wired headset, while an optional 5 V 1.2 A external adapter provides alternative power.
Verify that your network switch delivers IEEE 802.3af Class 3 power if you plan to use PoE without the optional AC adapter. Each USB port supplies 5 V 500 mA, so confirm that attached peripherals stay within that budget. The unit supports the EXP43 expansion module for additional line keys, which adds width to the 224.9 x 206.2 mm desk footprint. Ensure your call server supports SIP v1 RFC2543 or v2 RFC3261 with the required redundancy and NAT traversal modes.

Other versions of this model
The SIP-T44U uses dual-port Gigabit Ethernet with Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 3, capping wired network speed at 1 Gbps per port.
The phone measures 224.9 x 206.2 x 174.9 x 52 mm and weighs 1150 grams, so verify desk depth or wall-mount bracket clearance before installation.
It powers via PoE IEEE 802.3af Class 3 or an optional Yealink AC adapter (100-240 V AC in, 5 V/1.2 A DC out); the common miss is not confirming the network switch delivers Class 3 PoE before skipping the adapter.
