Powers three SATA drives from a single 6-pin Corsair AX-series connector using 18AWG wire with right-angle plugs
This 6-pin to triple SATA power cable is built for Corsair AX760 and AX860 full-modular power supplies. It lets builders connect up to three SATA drives or SSDs from a single peripheral port. The right-angle connectors ease routing in tight chassis. It suits anyone expanding storage on these specific AX units.
Use it when the stock cables are absent, too short, or lack enough SATA heads for your drive count. The 18AWG wires and 50+15+15cm branch lengths cover typical mid-tower layouts. The jump is worth it only if your PSU is an AX760 or AX860; other Corsair or third-party units use different pin-outs.
The 18AWG conductors handle the sustained current of multiple spinning disks or SSDs without voltage sag. Right-angle plugs reduce strain on drive ports during long-term operation. Builders needing more than three SATA devices or a different PSU brand should look elsewhere.

The 6-pin end plugs directly into the AX-series modular socket so the three right-angle SATA 15-pin heads can power SSDs or hard drives.
Connect the 6-pin to the PSU first, run the 50 cm trunk to the drive cage, then attach each 15 cm branch; the right-angle heads sit flat against the drive so cables don't bend sharply.
Inspect the black 18 AWG wires and right-angle connectors whenever you rebuild; swap the cable if insulation shows cracks, pins feel loose or you exceed three drives per 6-pin rail.
