Compatible Corsair PSU Models

This cable connects to Corsair CX430 CX450 CX500 CX600 CX650 CX750 Type 3 modular power supplies. It is also backward compatible with Type 4 units. Builders using Corsair Type 1 or Type 2 power supplies cannot use this cable. Other brands and models are not supported.

Cable Layout and Wire Gauge

The 50 cm lead from the PSU splits into four SATA connectors spaced 15 cm apart. All wires are UL1007 standard 18AWG, heat resistant and durable for long-term use. One pin hole on the 6-pin plug is intentionally empty (NC) as part of the default pinout.

Single 6-Pin Source Limitation

Power for all four drives comes from one 6-pin peripheral port on the PSU. Systems that need more SATA devices than a single port can supply will require additional cables or a different PSU configuration.
