8Pin to 6+2Pin PCIe Power Cable

This 60 cm cable connects a Seasonic Platinum modular power supply to a graphics card. It uses an 8-pin PSU connector on one end and a 6+2-pin PCIe connector on the other. The 18 AWG tinned copper conductors are wrapped in a flexible braided sleeve for easier routing inside the case. Each cable is tested before shipment.

Builders using compatible Seasonic Platinum units

The cable is designed for Seasonic Platinum models rated at 660 W, 760 W, 860 W, 1050 W and 1200 W. It fits graphics cards that require either a 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power socket thanks to the sliding 2-pin section. Builders with non-Seasonic power supplies or with PSUs that use a different pin-out should not use this cable, as mixing cable types can cause damage.

PSU-side 8-pin to GPU-side 6+2-pin pin-out

The decisive specification is the exact connector pairing: an 8-pin plug that goes into the Seasonic Platinum modular port and a 6+2-pin plug that mates with the graphics card. If your power supply does not use the Seasonic Platinum 8-pin pin-out, this cable will not work correctly.
