A modular PSU-to-GPU power cable with dual 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, 18AWG wiring and 60-plus-20-cm length for Corsair RM-e Type 4 units
This cable connects Corsair RM750e, RM850e and RM1000e modular power supplies to graphics cards. It uses the Type 4 pin layout and is not compatible with Corsair Type 1, Type 2 or Type 5 units or with other brands. Buyers who need cables for those platforms should look elsewhere.
Two 6+2pin PCIe plugs supply 6-pin or 8-pin sockets on cards such as GTX1080, RTX2080, RTX3080 and Radeon RX6800 XT. The sliding 2-pin section lets each connector serve either configuration. Builders whose GPU requires a different power interface cannot use this cable.
The cable is made from UL1007 18AWG tin-coated copper rated for heat resistance and durability. This gauge determines the safe current capacity for the connected hardware. Installers who need a different wire specification must choose another product.

It is made for the RM1000e, RM850e and RM750e units. Do not use it with Type 1, Type 2 or Type 5 PSUs.
Yes. Each 6+2 pin connector splits so you can use just the 6-pin portion for cards with a 6-pin socket.
Check that the PSU-side 8-pin plug is fully inserted — one empty pin is normal — and that both GPU-side connectors click into the card.
