Connects a Corsair Type 4 PSU 8‑pin port to two CPU 4+4‑pin headers using 18AWG flat wire rated for 155 W and 235 W
This flat cable set connects a single PSU 8‑pin port to two CPU 4+4‑pin connectors for Corsair RM750e RM850e RM1000e units. It is built for builders who need an extra CPU power feed on these specific modular supplies. Buyers with non‑Type‑4 Corsair units or other brands cannot use this cable safely.
Each 18AWG conductor uses UL1007 tin‑coated copper rated for up to 10A continuous current. The 4‑pin leg supports up to 155W and the 8‑pin leg up to 235W under steady load. The flat‑wire design helps heat dissipate evenly during prolonged operation. Builds that exceed those per‑connector wattages will need a different power arrangement.
The 70cm main run plus an 8cm extension on the 4+4‑pin side gives routing flexibility inside most chassis. Flat construction makes the cable easy to bend and tie down without kinking. The PSU‑side plug is an ATX 8‑pin male connector, not a PCIe 8‑pin, so inserting it into the wrong modular port is the typical mistake that prevents the system from posting.

The cable uses UL1007 18AWG tin-coated copper rated for up to 10A per terminal, so it handles the 235-watt 8-pin load without excess heat.
It is built for Corsair RM750e, RM850e and RM1000e units that use the Type 4 modular pinout; other PSUs have different pinouts and will not work.
Yes — the splitter provides one full 8-pin and one 4-pin connector; the 4-pin end supplies up to 155 watts for legacy boards.
