WeChef LED Backlit Menu Holder

The WeChef LED Backlit Menu Holder is a single-panel display designed for hospitality venues that need readable menus in low-light settings. It fits standard 11x8 inch paper or frosted film inserts and uses a rechargeable battery for cordless operation. The CE-certified construction combines PU leather and acrylic for a water-resistant, odour-free finish.

Rechargeable battery with 4 to 6 hour runtime

A built-in rechargeable battery powers the LED panel for approximately four to six hours of continuous illumination. Typical service lasts longer because the light only draws power when the holder is open. The unit produces no fan noise or heat and requires no external wiring during service.

Upgrades from unlit menu covers

This holder replaces standard non-illuminated menu covers where dim dining areas make paper hard to read. The jump is worth it for venues that operate evening service and want a cordless, single-hand design with a slide-in top load. It is not suited for multi-panel binder formats or fixed wall-mounted displays.

Questions about this item

How do I load a menu into the 11x8 inch panel and what is the common mistake?

Slide the paper in from the top; the mistake is inserting it from the side, which jams the frosted film against the acrylic.

What maintenance will the rechargeable battery need later?

Expect the 4 to 6 hour continuous runtime to shorten over time; plan to replace the internal battery when a full charge no longer lasts a dinner service.

What limit appears first during a long shift with the backlight on continuously?

The battery runs out after roughly 4 to 6 hours of non-stop illumination, so a mid-shift recharge or spare unit becomes necessary.
