Connects Corsair ATX 8-pin PSU outputs to graphics cards via a 6+2 PCIe plug using 18 AWG sleeved wire
This sleeved adapter connects a Corsair power supply ATX 8-pin port to a graphics card PCIe 6+2-pin connector. It is built only for video cards and will not work with motherboard EPS sockets. The 25-inch length suits compact builds.
The cable uses 18AWG tin-coated copper conductors rated for typical GPU currents. Passive wiring adds no fan noise and generates negligible heat under normal loads. A hook-and-loop strip is included for tidy routing inside the case.
The ATX 8-pin male end plugs into listed Corsair RM, RMX, HX, AX, SF, TX, CX and CS series units among others. The PCIe 6+2-pin male end fits 6-pin or 8-pin graphics cards from ASUS, ASRock, Gigabyte, Radeon and similar brands. It does not work with the AX1200 model.

Plug the ATX 8-pin male connector only into the PSU side; the PCIe 6+2 male end goes to the graphics card. The two 8-pin ends are not interchangeable, so do not reverse them.
No scheduled maintenance is required. Inspect the 63 cm length and connectors for dust or damage during routine PC cleaning; replace the cable if the sleeving frays or pins loosen.
The 18 AWG gauge sets the current-carrying limit; under continuous heavy load the wire will hit its thermal ceiling before the connectors do.
