What It Is

This Yilespq 8-inch power extension cord comes in a two-pack for indoor use. It carries a NEMA 1-15P polarized male plug to a NEMA 1-15R polarized female connector. The white 18AWG cable is ETL listed and rated for 125 volts at 10 amps.

Capacity and Headroom

The 10-amp rating supports small household appliances such as rice cookers, desktop fans, projectors and water dispensers. It also helps maximise power-strip space by accommodating bulky power blocks. The cord is not suited for devices that draw more than 10 amps or for outdoor environments.

Practical Limits of the Standard

The NEMA 1-15 polarized interface accepts only two-prong plugs and provides no grounding path. It is certified for 125-volt indoor service at 10 amps, so it cannot be used on higher-voltage circuits or with three-prong equipment. The 18AWG conductors limit the safe load to the rated 10 amps.

Questions about this item

Will this 8 in cord let me plug a bulky 10A 125V adapter into a crowded power strip without blocking adjacent outlets?

Yes, the short 8 in length and NEMA 1-15P to NEMA 1-15R polarized connectors are designed to extend the reach of a power block so it no longer covers neighbouring sockets on a strip or wall outlet.

How can I confirm the cord is rated for the 10A 125V load my rice cooker draws?

The jacket carries ETL listing markings and the specifications state 10 amps at 125 volts, matching the rating required by the appliance.

Does the 2 pack include only the two white 8 in extension cords or are any extra connectors supplied?

The package contains two white 8 in polarized extension cords with NEMA 1-15P male and NEMA 1-15R female ends; no additional connectors or accessories are included.
