What this kit does

The YINGHUA 20km RCA Fiber Optical Extender Kit transmits two-way analogue audio over a single SC fibre link up to 20 kilometres. It digitises the signal at 24bit/96KHz sampling for high-fidelity reproduction and is suited to broadcast, home-theatre, conferencing and education installations.

Build and connections

Each unit presents unbalanced RCA sockets with a 10K input impedance and 600 output impedance, maintaining a 1/1 input-output range ratio across a 20Hz-20KHz frequency response. The optical link eliminates electromagnetic interference, radio-frequency interference and ground-loop currents for safe operation in harsh environments.

Thermals and power

All-digital optical transmission requires no manual adjustment and runs without active cooling, so the units operate silently. Power is supplied via the included AU-plug adapters, drawing minimal current while maintaining signal integrity over the full distance range up to 120 kilometres.
