HDMI Extender for 4K up to 100m

This HDMI extender transmits 4K video over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable up to 100 metres. It includes EDID management so the source and display handshake correctly. The kit suits PC, laptop or HDTV setups that need the source placed far from the screen. An AU plug power supply is provided for local operation.

Passive thermal design with no fan noise

The units run without active cooling, so they add no audible noise to the room. Power draw is low enough for the supplied adapter and does not require a dedicated circuit. Heat is dissipated through the metal enclosure during normal use. No fan maintenance or airflow clearance is needed.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 100M HDMI extender over a single Cat5E/6 cable and what step is often missed?

Connect the transmitter to the source and the receiver to the display using one Cat5E/6 cable up to 100M, then power both units via the included AU plug; the step often missed is ensuring the EDID handshake completes before switching inputs.

What maintenance or replacement will the 100M HDMI extender need over time?

The extender has no user-serviceable parts; if signal drop-out occurs, inspect the Cat5E/6 cable for damage and verify the AU power adapters are firmly seated, replacing only the cable or power supply if faulty.
