HDMI KVM Extender over IP Cat5e/6 200M

This HDMI KVM extender transmits video, audio and USB control signals up to 200 metres over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It follows the TCP/IP standard and works with a network switch for point-to-point, one-to-many or cascade topologies. The kit includes one transmitter and one receiver, each powered by a 5 V 1 A adapter with an EU plug.

Build quality and daily connectivity

The aluminium enclosures measure 163 by 87 by 24 millimetres and weigh 474 grams each, designed for desk or rack mounting without a fan. Front-panel HDMI ports carry 1.3 video up to 1080p at 480p, 720p or 1080p resolutions, while USB Type-A sockets extend mouse and keyboard signals. A 38 kHz NEC-compatible IR window allows remote-control passthrough, and dual RJ45 jacks link the units via standard 802.3 Ethernet cabling.

Verify that your source and display both support HDMI 1.3 and one of the listed resolutions: 480p, 720p or 1080p. Ensure the Cat5e or Cat6 run does not exceed 200 metres and that a managed or unmanaged network switch is available if you plan one-to-many or cascade deployment. Confirm the 5 V 1 A EU power adapters suit your mains supply and that operating temperatures stay within 0 to 45 °C at 10 to 80 % relative humidity.
