Converts SCART analogue video to 720p or 1080p at 60 Hz via HDMI 1.4 for TVs, DVD players and set-top boxes
The YINGHUA adapter converts analogue SCART composite video into a digital HDMI 1.4 signal. It accepts PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N sources. Output resolutions are 720p or 1080p at 60 Hz. The unit is powered from a 5 V supply and draws up to 3 W.
The converter handles only composite video carried on the SCART pinout; RGB or S-Video signals are not supported. Audio is embedded into the HDMI stream alongside the upscaled picture. HDMI 1.4 bandwidth caps the output at 1080p 60 Hz with no HDR or higher refresh rates. The 3 W power budget means a standard USB charger can run the device.
This replaces a direct SCART-to-SCART link when the display lacks a SCART socket or the source must reach an HDMI-only TV, projector or capture card. The jump is worthwhile when legacy kit such as a DVD player, satellite box or set-top box must feed a modern screen. It is not for sources that output only RGB over SCART or for installations that require pass-through of the original analogue signal.

Select 1080p/60Hz for the sharpest picture on a Full HD television; drop to 720p/60Hz only if your display cannot accept a 1080p signal.
The converter upscales the analogue SCART picture to a 1080p digital stream refreshed at 60 frames per second, giving a stable widescreen image on modern HDMI screens.
The output follows HDMI 1.4 and is capped at 1080p/60Hz, so 4K or higher refresh rates are not supported.
