VGA-to-HDMI converter with audio

This compact adapter converts a VGA male signal to an HDMI-compatible female output while carrying audio through the included cables. It supports plug-and-play operation for devices such as PS3, PS4, PCs, laptops, TV boxes, monitors and projectors. The unit draws power from the VGA port and includes a USB power cable for extra current when needed. It cannot be used in reverse from HDMI to VGA.

Passive operation with USB boost

The converter requires no external power supply in typical use because the VGA connection provides sufficient current. When the source device cannot deliver enough power, the supplied USB cable supplements it. There are no fans or active cooling components, so the device runs silently. Power draw is limited to what the host ports can provide.

Maximum output 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz

The adapter accepts standard VESA VGA resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz and outputs them over HDMI. Supported input modes include 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720, 1600x1200, 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 at various refresh rates listed in the specifications.
