X99 server board kit with E5-2673 V3 CPU, four DDR3 ECC slots up to 128 GB, M.2 NVME, PCI-E 3.0 x16 and SATA 3.0
This bundle pairs an X99H server motherboard with an E5-2673 V3 processor, a thermal pad and a SATA cable. The board uses a B85 chipset and an LGA2011-V3 socket, and it is sold new. It suits builders assembling a compact server or workstation on this platform.
The board offers four DDR3 slots supporting up to 128 GB of ECC or non-ECC memory, which cannot be mixed. A single PCI Express X16 slot and one M.2 NVME interface handle expansion. Buyers needing more than one graphics card or additional M.2 drives should look at a different platform.
The CPU support list names specific E5 V3 models including 2673, 2678, 2696, 2629, 2649, 2668 and 2666 running at 1600 MHz bus speed. Only processors from that exact list will work with this motherboard.

The board uses a standard ATX form factor with a 24-pin ATX power connector and an 8-pin EPS CPU power connector. It fits cases with ATX mounting holes and provides one PCI Express X16 slot for graphics cards.
Install the CPU into the LGA2011-V3 socket first, apply the included thermal pad, attach the cooler, then populate the four DDR3 slots with matched ECC modules, and finally insert the M.2 NVME drive into the M.2 slot and secure it with the screw.
The CMOS battery on the board will eventually need replacement to keep BIOS settings. The thermal pad between the CPU and cooler should be replaced if the cooler is removed. Electrolytic capacitors in the solid-state CPU power delivery may degrade over very long periods.
