Connects two SATA drives with 6 Gbps data cables and splits power via 4-pin ATX and 15-pin SATA adapters
This kit supplies two SATA III data cables and two power splitter cables for connecting hard drives, SSDs and optical drives inside a PC. It is aimed at builders adding multiple SATA devices or replacing worn cables. It does not suit systems that rely solely on M.2 or PCIe storage without any SATA ports.
The cables are passive copper assemblies that generate no heat, produce no noise and draw no power themselves. They simply carry power from the PSU and data between the drive and motherboard at up to 6 Gbps. No active cooling or extra wattage budget is required.
The set includes a 4-pin ATX to dual 15-pin SATA power cable and a 15-pin SATA to dual 15-pin SATA power cable, each 0.16 m long, letting one PSU connector feed two drives. Two 0.48 m straight-to-straight SATA III data cables complete the loom for tidy internal routing.

Plug the 4-pin ATX end into a spare motherboard or PSU 4-pin header, then attach both 15-pin SATA connectors to your drives. The step people miss is seating each 15-pin plug fully until the latch clicks; a loose fit causes intermittent power.
No scheduled maintenance is required. Inspect the straight-to-straight connectors occasionally for dust or bent pins; if a latch breaks or a cable kinks near the plug, replace that single 0.48 m cable.
The theoretical ceiling is 750 MB/s. In sustained use the practical limit appears first at the drive's own sequential write speed, which on most SATA SSDs and HDDs is well below 750 MB/s.
