Ultra-Rugged Cordless Scanner

The Zebra DS3678-SR3U4210SFW is a handheld cordless barcode scanner built for warehouse and manufacturing environments. It reads virtually any 1D or 2D printed or electronic barcode, even when damaged, dirty or under shrinkwrap. The scanner includes a standard cradle, USB cable, power supply and line cord for immediate deployment.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

The PowerPrecision+ 3100 mAh Li-Ion battery supports full-shift scanning without a mid-day recharge. IP65 and IP67 sealing protects internals from dust and water ingress during continuous exposure. The extreme temperature rating allows reliable operation in freezer conditions, while the vibration motor confirms every successful scan without relying on audio alone.

Installation and Common Issues

USB connectivity with the supplied shielded cable and cradle enables plug-and-play setup on host systems. The cradle manages charging and data transfer simultaneously, reducing cable clutter. Workers must align barcodes within the 31 by 23 degree field of view; scans outside this window or beyond the 1.5 m working range will not decode.
