ZIBOO NTN 7217B Angular Contact Bearing

This ZIBOO NTN 7217B is a single-row angular contact ball bearing built for radial and axial loads in one direction. It suits electricians and maintenance technicians who need a replacement bearing for motor shafts, pump assemblies or gearboxes where combined loading occurs. The open design allows direct lubrication and inspection during scheduled servicing.

Open-Type Installation and Common Issues

The open-type construction means the bearing ships without seals or shields, so clean lubricant must be applied before fitting. Press the inner ring onto the shaft and the outer ring into the housing using even force; hammer blows on one ring will brinell the raceways. Misalignment greater than the manufacturer’s allowance causes premature wear, and mixing this single-row unit with a second bearing that does not match the contact angle will create uneven load sharing.
