USB 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz proximity reader

The ZKTeco CR10 is a desktop USB card reader that accepts both 125 kHz EM ID cards and 13.56 MHz MF IC cards. It connects directly to a PC and returns the serial number of each presented credential. Access-control and time-attendance software on the host uses that number to grant entry or log attendance. The unit is aimed at small offices, reception desks and workstation enrolment points.

Dual-frequency operation removes the need

Supporting both low-frequency and high-frequency cards means a single device can cover legacy proximity badges and newer contactless smart cards. The reader outputs the card serial number over USB without requiring additional driver installation on standard operating systems. This simplifies enrolment workflows and reduces hardware count at each checkpoint.

Plug-and-play USB installation with short read range

The reader draws power from the USB port and is recognised as a standard HID device, so setup typically takes seconds.
