Fingerprint access control terminal

The ZKTECO F19 is a biometric fingerprint reader designed for access control applications. It uses an advanced algorithm for fast and reliable matching. The device operates standalone or connects to third-party panels via standard Wiegand signal. A 2.4-inch TFT LCD colour screen displays fingerprint images to guide placement.

Suits small to medium sites needing multi-factor

Ideal for offices requiring fingerprint, card or PIN authentication with capacity for 3,000 fingerprints and 10,000 cards. It supports TCP/IP and RS232 networking. Not suited for installations needing wireless connectivity or larger user databases beyond the stated template and log limits.

3,000 fingerprint template capacity

The unit stores up to 3,000 fingerprint templates and 100,000 transaction logs. This capacity determines how many unique users can be enrolled for biometric verification. Sites with more users must consider this limit before deployment.

Questions about this item

Does the F19 need a separate controller or does it run access decisions on its own 2.4-inch TFT LCD?

The F19 operates standalone and stores 3000 fingerprint templates and 100000 transaction logs internally, so no external controller is required for access decisions.

Can the F19 connect to an existing RS485 door controller while also using TCP/IP for the management PC?

Yes, the unit provides both TCP/IP and RS485 ports simultaneously, allowing it to link to a third-party panel via RS485 and to ZKAccess3.5 software over the network.

How do I confirm the F19 is reading fingers correctly after installation?

The 2.4-inch colour screen displays the live fingerprint image during enrolment and verification, and audio-visual indicators signal acceptance or rejection for each attempt.
