The ZKTECO F19 is a biometric fingerprint reader built for access control applications. It uses an advanced algorithm to deliver reliability, precision and fast matching speed. The device operates as a standalone unit or connects to third-party panels that accept standard Wiegand signals. A 2.4-inch TFT LCD colour screen displays fingerprint images to guide finger placement and improve recognition rates.

Bundled software and optional card reader

Included ZKAccess 3.5 software manages the 3,000 fingerprint templates, 10,000 card records and 100,000 transaction logs stored on the unit. An optional integrated smart card reader adds RF card support with EM cards as standard and MF cards available as an option. Authentication methods cover fingerprint only, card only, PIN only or combined modes such as PIN plus fingerprint and PIN plus card.

Build, connectors and daily implications

The unit uses industrial-grade components and an optical sensor with a watchdog monitor to prevent hangs, plus a unique reset key for recovery. Communication options include TCP/IP, RS232 and RS485 for flexible network deployment.
