The ZKTECO F19 is a new biometric fingerprint reader designed for access control and time attendance applications. It uses an advanced algorithm for reliable matching and a high-quality infrared detection sensor. The device operates standalone or connects to third-party panels that accept standard Wiegand signals. All configuration is performed on the built-in 2.4-inch TFT LCD colour screen, which also displays the fingerprint image to guide finger placement.

Connectivity options and daily operation

Communication is handled through TCP/IP and RS232 interfaces, with RS485 also available for different network topologies. The unit reads fingerprint and EM card credentials as standard, with an optional MF card reader. Access control interfaces include electric lock, door sensor, alarm and exit button connections. A tamper-proof switch and alarm outputs provide dismantlement, threat, illegal unlock and door ajar alerts, while audio-visual indicators confirm acceptance or rejection.

Capacity and recognition speed

The F19 stores up to 3000 fingerprint templates and 10000 card records, with a log capacity of 100000 transactions. Fingerprint verification completes in approximately one second per user. The ZKFinger V10.0 algorithm and ZKOptical sensor maintain matching precision, while a watchdog monitor and unique reset key help prevent unit hang. The device runs on ZKAccess3.5 software for management and reporting.
