Access control terminal

The ZKTECO Face128 is a 4-inch touchscreen terminal that combines visible light facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and IC card reading in a single unit. It stores up to 1000 face templates, 1000 fingerprint templates and 1000 card users while logging 100000 transaction records. A high-definition binocular camera automatically activates fill light in low-light conditions. The device connects via TCP/IP with optional WiFi and runs on DC12V 3A power.

Suits offices needing multi-mode entry without

Organisations that want facial, fingerprint and card options on one compact device will find the Face128 covers all three. Buyers who require larger user databases or higher record counts should look at models with greater capacity. Sites without network infrastructure cannot use the TCP/IP link, and environments outside the 12 to 45 degrees Celsius operating range need a different solution. The 19.2 mm depth also limits flush-mount options.

100000 record capacity sets the audit limit

The terminal retains 100000 access events before older entries are overwritten, which determines how long a full audit trail is available on the device itself. Sites with high daily traffic or long compliance retention periods must plan for regular log exports via U disk or the TCP/IP link. Face and fingerprint templates are each capped at 1000, so the record log is the only figure that scales with daily usage volume.

Questions about this item

How many users can the 1000 face capacity actually handle in daily operation?

The terminal stores up to 1000 enrolled faces, 1000 fingerprints and 1000 card users, and logs 100000 verification records before overwriting.

What does the TCP/IP link limit in a real installation?

TCP/IP provides the primary network connection for real-time data exchange with ZKAccess3.5, E-ZKEco Pro or ZKTime5.0 software; optional WiFi can be added where cabling is impractical.

Will the 192.5 by 80.5 by 19.2 mm case fit a standard UK single-gang back box?

The slim 19.2 mm depth is designed for direct wall mounting; it does not match a standard single-gang box footprint, so a dedicated surface bracket or recess is required.
