Purpose and Audience

The ZKTECO iClock660 is a fingerprint time attendance and access control terminal built for corporate offices that need offline operation with optional network connectivity. It supports up to 10,000 users and stores 100,000 records for reliable daily use.

Interface and Capacity Limits

The device communicates through TCP/IP and U-disk transfer, with no wireless or cloud sync mentioned in the specifications. Its 8,000 fingerprint template limit and 3.5-inch TFT screen define the practical boundaries for enrolment volume and on-device interaction.

Upgrade Context

This unit replaces older standalone clocks that lack TCP/IP networking or high-capacity fingerprint storage. The jump is worthwhile when an organisation requires multiple connected terminals, U-disk data management, and the ZKFinger 10.0 algorithm for difficult fingerprints.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 10,000 user capacity and 8,000 fingerprint capacity?

The device stores up to 10,000 users and 8,000 fingerprint templates; choose based on how many employees need badge-only entry versus fingerprint verification.

What does the 100,000 record capacity mean for daily use?

It holds 100,000 attendance or access events before old logs are overwritten, enough for months of traffic at a typical office.

Which network interfaces are available and what speeds do they support?

TCP/IP and RS485 are built in; TCP/IP links to your LAN at standard Ethernet rates while RS485 connects multiple terminals over long cable runs.
