Visible-light facial terminal for small business

The ZKTECO XFace600+WIFI is a visible-light facial recognition terminal designed for small-business access control and time-attendance. It combines face, fingerprint and RFID card authentication on a Linux platform with a 5-inch TP colour screen. Standard Wiegand in/out, door magnet and alarm functions secure the workplace. Capacity supports 10,000 users, 10,000 fingerprints, 10,000 faces and 100,000 records.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The unit operates between 0 and 45 °C with humidity from 20% to 80%, drawing power from a DC 12 V 3 A supply. The megapixel binocular camera and colour display run continuously without active cooling, so the device stays silent during everyday verification. Identification completes in 0.5 s, keeping queues short and power draw steady.

Behaviour under sustained load

During prolonged high-traffic periods the terminal maintains 0.5 s recognition speed while logging up to 100,000 events. The Linux OS manages concurrent face, fingerprint and card checks without thermal throttling within the rated temperature range. Wiegand outputs and alarm relays remain responsive for continuous door control and security monitoring.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the XFace600+WIFI and what wiring mistake do installers make?

Mount the 203×92×22.5 mm unit on a wall, connect DC12V 3A power and TCP/IP cable; the common error is forgetting the Wiegand in/out links for the door magnet and alarm so the lock never triggers.

Which components will need replacement after heavy daily use?

The 5-inch TP colour screen and the megapixel binocular camera are the only moving optical parts; expect to replace the screen or camera module once touch responsiveness or image clarity degrades.

What is the first limit reached when the terminal runs non-stop in a busy lobby?

The 100,000-record log fills first; once full the device stops storing new events until old records are cleared or backed up.
